What is colon hydrotherapy?
Colon hydrotherapy is also known as (colonics, colon irrigation, high colonic,
colon therapy, colon lavage) is a safe, clean, relaxing and very effective
method to cleanse the colon (large intestine) (of accumulated waste and
toxins.) The treatment involves a gentle internal bath using warm, purified
water that can help to eliminate stored fecal matter, gas, mucus and toxin
substances from the colon.
The colon or (large intestine) is a hollow tube-like organ made up of a muscle
structure that moves toxic materials out of the body by a wave-like motion
known as peristalsis. Use of laxative over an extended period of time will
weaken these muscles, creating dependency.
From the beginning of the large intestine (cecum) to the rectum, it is
approximately 5 to 6 feet long. When a person is constipated, the walls of the
colon are generally packed or lined with accumulated feces. This causes
extended periods of intestinal overloading by failure to respond to the
immediate call of nature. In this condition, the colon can neither absorb nor
eliminate properly, polluted blood from this system is picked up by the liver
and circulates through every part of the body, reaching every cell. To
properly clean the body tissue, we must start by thorough cleansing of the
bowel. It took time to pollute our bodies to the point of disease, so it also
takes time to reverse this process through a series of internal cleansing
(colonics).
